Oh, the light, happy ones for sure. I have had experiences where I've seen a happy movie more than once, like French Kiss, then found myself right there in that landscape & place...Last night I saw The Book Thief. While a tragedy, it showed the redemptive powers of art & love...And don't tell anyone, but I still love Pollyanna...And you?
Debbie--I love happy endings, but I've become more OK with uncertain endings in movies as I've gotten older. I'm OK with a bit of sadness if I'm left with a hopeful and uplifted feeling at the end.

ReplyDeleteI am not sure Kathy - but for sure the ones that have a Happy Ending! Hope you have a lovely weekend.
ReplyDeleteRita--Me, too--light, happy ones, and ones that involve traveling! I am thinking of Enchanted April and Last Holiday in particular right now.
